Legacy Tech’s curriculum will focus on the five STEAM disciplines: science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. This unique STEAM program will prepare students to succeed in higher education and compete in Silicon Valley’s high-tech environment and the wider globalized world. The school will offer year-round programming, running daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m..

Legacy Tech will collaborate with the best and brightest minds in technology, business and higher education in the area. Students will be able to enroll in mentoring programs and to work off campus in area tech firms and other corporations. All students will become competent in two or three computer programming languages, and in 3-D printing.

The academic program will be rigorous, with tutoring available for students who need help. Legacy Tech’s approach to learning will emphasize innovative thinking and problem-solving. It will also employ an integrative approach, in which every subject informs every other subject. Students will learn how math can make them better engineers, history can make them better scientists, and art can make them better technologists.
